Local food retailer Watson & Pratt’s have organised a raffle to raise funds to install a Defibrillator on Lampeter Industrial Estate.
The Defibrillator will cost £1508 in total but if half can be raised by the public Lampeter Town Council have offered to match the funding.
Prizes for the raffle have been donated by a number of local businesses including The Falcondale, Y Seler, Huw Lewis Tyres, LAS Recycling, Outback Outfitters, Watson & Pratt’s and Stephanie Hafferty.
Tickets are only £1. The Raffle will be drawn at 2pm during the Apple Day Festival on Saturday 14 October.
The new Defibrillator will likely be installed outside Watson & Pratt’s unless a more suitable site is identified.
Currently the nearest Defibrillator to the Industrial Estate is in the doorway of the Lampeter Evangelical Church on College Street.
