Watson & Pratt’s is an independent food shop specialising in organic and local products, including fruit and vegetables.

The business also offers wholesale of organic fruit and vegetables, and an online shopping home delivery service throughout Mid and South Wales.

In 2013 Watson & Pratt’s launched its own bakery – Lampeter Bakehouse.

Watson & Pratt’s traces its origin back to Organic Farm Foods that started in Lampeter in the 1980’s.

That later became the Organic Fresh Food Company.

The current owners Lucy Watson and Ben Pratt took over the business in 2011. They changed the name to Watson & Pratt’s in 2016.

Since then the business has grown to over 30 staff, and has recently opened a second shop in the nearby seaside town of Aberaeron.

In 2016 Watson & Pratt’s also brought a 24 acre smallholding in Llangeitho to grow food for the shop.

The company has organic certification from the Soil Association.

Food Hygiene Rating

Watson & Pratt’s was awarded a Food Hygiene Rating of 5 (Very Good) by Ceredigion County Council on 2 February 2023.
