03 Oct 2023Ceredigion County Council is looking to recruit a School Cleaner at Dyffryn Cledlyn Primary School (Ysgol Dyffryn Cledlyn) in Drefach.
A cleaner is required to undertake the various cleaning responsibilities at Ysgol Dyffryn Cledlyn to ensure that the School is kept in a clean and hygienic condition.
Whilst experience and knowledge of Health and Safety would be advantageous, full training will be provided. Good communication skills are required.
On a day to day basis the tasks will include cleaning, washing, sweeping, vacuum cleaning, emptying litter bins, damp wiping and dusting of designated areas (which may include toilet and shower areas) and fixtures and fittings, using where appropriate the necessary powered equipment.
The school is looking for an individual who is motivated and enthusiastic about the nature of the work with a flexible attitude and able to carry out various duties with a variable work schedule.
The job is for 15 hours per week.
Please note that a successful applicant without the required Welsh language skill will be fully supported to reach the required standard within two years of appointment.
