The Tir Glas project at UWTSD is hosting a screening of the film ‘Heart Valley‘ about Cellan sheep farmer Wilf Davies.

Heart Valley was made by London-based film maker Christian Cargill after reading a Guardian article about the farmer by journalist Kiran Sidhu who moved to Cellan from London and made friends with Wilf.

After the film Kiran Sidhu will be talking with Simon Wright, about the film and her book ‘I Can Hear The Cuckoo’ which was published earlier this year.

The film recently took top spot in the Short Film category at the recent BAFTA Cymru awards.

The event is being sponsored by Wright’s Emporium.
