Liam Douglas of Pen Bryn, Lampeter has been fined after admitting assaulting a female police office.

Douglas, 24, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates Court on 30 August.

He admitted that on 10 August he assaulted PC Jones in Lampeter by beating her.

Douglas was ordered to pay a £733 fine, £50 compensation, £293 surcharge and £85 costs.
