A half day workshop creating a selection of star shaped festive willow decorations.

You will be able to make one large star plus a few smaller ones. The large one can be decorated with natural and colourful dyed willow plus a string of fairy lights.

A selection of willow colours will be available. All tools and equipment will be provided.

Suitable for complete beginners and older children (age 12+ with accompanying adult).

The tutor for the course is Justine Burgess of West Wales Willows.

Justine originally trained as an engineer, and worked in the charity and education sectors, before becoming a partner in West Wales Willows with her husband, Alan. On their smallholding in Carmarthenshire, they grow around 250 varieties of willow and sell it as cuttings and rods during the winter for others to grow, as well as selling their own willow products and sharing her expertise through workshops.

Places are limited to eight participants and must be booked in advance.
