Y Talbot is a Grade II listed Inn with bar, restaurant and rooms situated on the town square in the market town of Tregaron.

Renowned for its high quality hospitality and food Y Talbot is listed in the Michelin Guide and has been awarded two AA Rosettes. Locally sourced fish, lamb, beef and cheeses are showcased on the extensive menu. Welsh ales and ciders are also featured.

The nine Superior bedrooms and suites have been renovated to a very high standard, offering a high level of comfort to guests with sumptuous bathrooms featuring walk in showers. Two of the suites also also have baths.

The four Standard rooms offer simpler accommodation to suit a smaller budget.

Families with children can be accommodated in the top floor suite and in the garden suites.

Y Talbot welcomes guests with limited mobility – the Ground floor Accessible room may be accessed without steps or ramps and there are also accessible toilets on the ground floor.

There is a landscaped garden to the rear, ideal for al fresco dining. There is ample free parking in the Square at the front of the building and private parking to the rear as well as secure lock up facilities for bikes and motorbikes.

The restaurant is led by Head Chef Dafydd Watkin who was trained by Marco Pierre White.

Listed in the Michelin Guide Y Talbot’s bar and 2 AA Rosette restaurant serve the best lamb, beef and cheeses from the Teifi Valley, fresh fish from Milford Haven and Cardigan Bay shellfish.

The same menu is served at the same price in the bar and restaurant.

Lunch is served from 12noon – 2pm, and evening meals from 6pm – 10.30pm.

The Bar is open from 12noon – 10.30pm; teas and coffees are available all day.
