Lampeter (Taliesin) Surgery is part of the Bro Pedr Medical Group along with Brynmeddyg Surgery in Llanybydder.

Bro Pedr Medical Group is the largest Practice in South Ceredigion with approximately 12,100 patients. The team of consists of 5 GP Partners, 1 Salaried GP, an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Practice Nurses and a full complement of support staff including an Assistant Practice Manager and Finance Manager.

Lampeter Surgery runs a number of clinics including an Asthma Clinic, a Child Health Clinic, a Diabetic Clinic, a Family Clinic, a Hypertension Clinic and Well Woman Clinic.

The Surgery is closed on some Wednesday afternoons for staff training.

Lampeter Surgery operates a triage system for all appointment requests – urgent and non-urgent. If you need to see or speak to a Doctor or Nurse Practitioner phone between 8.30am and 10.30am on the day you are able to receive a telephone consultation or attend an appointment. You will be asked by the Receptionist to give brief details of the problem and then a member of the Practice Team will call you back.

Telephone access to the surgery is available until 6.30pm, thereafter the Emergency Out of Hours Service takes over between the hours of 6.30pm and 8.00am, weekends and bank holidays. Please telephone the emergency out of hours services on 111.
