Introduction to Wildlife at Denmark Farm

Have you ever wondered whose been nibbling on that nut? Whose is that scat? Or what wildlife might be visiting your garden?

Join the Nature Reserve Manager Ryan, to explore the woodlands and hedgerows at Denmark Farm looking for tracks and signs of wildlife.

This is a very basic introduction to wildlife identification and tracking.

You will look at and discuss some of the items found in nature, which are on display in the Wildlife Discovery Room, and spend time walking around the site looking for tracks, signs and discussing what wildlife is seen here at Denmark Farm.

Tutor

Ryan is an experienced tutor, having been running his own woodland business Knight-Fox Wild About Learning since 2017. He is an Ecologist, teacher of Wildlife Identification & Tracking, Ethnobotanist, Bushcraft Instructor, Social Forester, Forest School Leader and Coastal School Leader.

The course is suitable for anyone aged 16 or over.

Please bring a packed lunch. Tea and coffee will be provided.

Please also bring suitable clothing and footwear for the outdoors.
