Ben Lake is the Plaid Cymru MP for Ceredigion, and has been an MP continuously since 8 June 2017.
He currently undertakes the roles of Shadow PC Spokesperson (Digital, Culture, Media & Sport), Shadow PC Spokesperson (Education), Shadow PC Spokesperson (Environment, Food and Rural Affairs), Shadow PC Spokesperson (Health and Social Care), Shadow PC Spokesperson (Housing, Communities & Local Government), Shadow PC Spokesperson (The Constitution and Welsh Affairs), and Shadow PC Spokesperson (Treasury).
Ben was elected with a majority of 6,329 at the last General Election held on 12 December 2019.
He attended Ysgol Bro Pedr in Lampeter, and Oxford University where he gained an undergraduate degree in History and Politics, and a master’s degree in Modern British and European History.
